Long Time No update!

Friends

Don't know what to say other then friends are friends, they're there for you for a while and then they drift. So when they drift, why is it that you find it so hard to talk to them, it's not like they've changed all that much, it's just weird how some people change so much when you don't see them. But it's even more sad that people think i've changed so much because they don't see me as often and someone (who shall remain nameless) was unhappy that we were drifting but i told that someone that there was nothing he/she could really do...even though we're trying to be friends again...it just doesn't work. Is friendship a one time thing? You're friends with someone for a while, you break up, make up, laugh, cry, have a great time but once you drift, does that mean that your friendship is dead?

Over the course of the past few months i've lost more friends then the last 2 years combined, and i don't know what to attribute that too, some might say that since i'm in grade 10 there's a lot of change, others say the workload brings you down. Makes me wonder bout what some people say, how they tell me i've changed so much and it's been sad. I told that one friend that i drifted from how nice his/her shoes were...he/she said that he/she had gotten it after the summer and it's sad that i havent noticed that since i havent talked to that someone or seen that someone in so long.

 Then there's the friends that are friends until you realize they don't respect or trust you at all...i don't know what this is or what i'll become but i just realize that some people change, and when they change they change for the worse and you don't WANT to be friends with them, does that make you the one that's wrong or does it make him/her wrong to not accept that it's awkward?

There's always that song...

Have you ever noticed that there's always that song that you'll say you'll never forget because it rocks sooooooo much and you listen to it over and over again? Well the thing is that after you listen to a song more then 3 times a day...you loose intrest in the song and move on to another, luckily there are always songs that feed the intrest of the human mind or else we'd be stuck somewhere without ever listening to a song, and we'd get a bit boring in our taste in music because what we've liked is gone, and what we want to like is not hear. I guess im just wondering how i can keep those songs i love still stuck in my head even after listening to them 12312312 number of times.

On another note with some people this is like friendship with them. Not me personally but some i know get bored of people and move on because they think the person is boring or something of that matter and then you just find new friends. The sad part is that the person who you just blew off, unlike a song, will not forget and will get back at you in the exact opposite way of a song, it'll make your life excruciating. With this said, songs do not band together, songs dont have feeling and songs will not try to ruin the rest of your life because the rest of their life has been ruined by you.

Just a thought really because i don't 'dump' my friends or get rid of them, sometimes it's natural, and when it is i guess it becomes mutual. I've seen this with one friend but now that i think of it, it would've never happened if she/he had actually listened to me in the beginning! But then again no one listens to half the things i say so i guess it's fate?
